The Megger PowerDB Pro asset and test data management software is a powerful software package that provides you with data collection and management for all of your acceptance and maintenance activities. PowerDB Pro provides a simple and consistent user interface for many Megger instruments including insulation power factor, relay, circuit breaker, instrument transformer, power transformer ratio and winding resistance, insulation resistance, battery impedance and discharge, and many other test sets.
With PowerDB Pro, an entire organisation’s data and test results can be synchronised into a single database, scalable to Microsoft SQL Server, for easy retrieval and review. Data can be imported from various sources, acquired directly from test instruments, or entered manually. Customer and contract information is quickly sorted and searched and opening a specific record shows detailed information about the job, such as type of service, order date, sales contact, and invoice information. Job information and related test results can be transferred between field-use databases and a master database.
You can easily trend results over time and compare to similar assets, track maintenance intervals, and generate work orders for scheduled assets. You can also merge results from multiple test instruments with data imports from other sources to facilitate queries and sorting.
Result and summary reports can be easily generated and built-in test forms support consistency in procedures and reports. One-step report generation maximises time efficiency and facilitates NERC compliance audits. Job and device productivity reports track the time spent testing, which aids in bidding future jobs as well as personnel evaluation.
PowerDB has over 370 test forms provided including over 160 industry standard test forms that have been developed and used over 20 years by industry specialists. Test data entry screens and printed forms are identical for intuitive operation and interpretation; what you see on the screen is what is printed in the reports. The test forms are designed with extensive information processing including equation calculations, temperature correction and charting, plus test instrument automation and data imports
Designed mainly to collect data from inspection, maintenance and testing activities, PowerDB’s test forms are not limited in the type of data that can be captured. A built-in form editor allows users to modify existing forms or create new test forms to collect any type of information. Entire test documentation packages consisting of test reports, comment and deficiency summaries, table of contents, and field service reports are created with a single step. Once created, reports can be delivered electronically via email, CD-ROM, web server, or Adobe Acrobat.
